What defines TRUST in a relationship???

What exactly is trust in a relationship?? Well in my opinion trust is as follows...

I believe I trust in the relationship than I am willing to trust that the other one is only doing things to benefit the relationship, and letting the person explain what may have been misinterpreted with out being biased to one side keeping an open mind...

I also believe that if you fully trust in each other then you don't feel the need to hide things from each other because you trust that things can always be compromised to mutual solution that works for both parties...

This is only my opinion, if you disagree feel free to let me know what your interpretation is, if you agree, and feel there is still more to it then please feel free to say so...

I think trust in a relationship involves understanding. Things come up in the relationship that have to be resolved and I think trust is what helps couples through those hard times. I also think trust is a verb, not just a noun (just as love is a verb and not just a noun). It's one of those things you must give in order to receive and vice versa.

Just my thoughts :)
