Giving up any form of tobacco is a hard thing to do...

I started smoking and rubbing/chewing snuff at a very young age... I gave up smoking and snuff 20 years ago because my wife was pregnant with my daughter... I have pretty much always rubbed snuff... I gave up snuff once before but hmm a friend helped me to pick the habit up again... He left some sit around my house... I picked it up and started again without ever thinking... I am currently trying to give it up once more... But now I seems to be more irritable than usual... I guess if I really am going to give it up then I need to just stay steady and not give in to my urges... It is so hard but can do it if I want... I will not let it get the best of me I can beat this... It comes in lots of flavors and types... The flavors are used to draw in a larger crowd... It is easy for teens to get hooked just as easy as adults... but on the other hand it is just as hard for them to quit. You become very irritable and jittery because your body has to go through withdrawal of the nicotine... Let me tell you, I just want to get past the first month... It has been 4 - days since I have had any tobacco in my body... I am going crazy trying to keep it together but I know I can manage... I just need to make it for a month then I will be ok to go from there... when giving up tobacco all you can do is hope that the people around you that you care about can understand you may not be yourself for a bit till your body adjusts....

I believe you can do it, sweetheart. I'm sorry if I can't comprehend what you have to go through sometimes but you know I care for you and I'm happy that somehow you realize it won't do any good at all...please keep doin' it for yourself!
