Good morning! 18 days to go till Christmas. Probably most of you are all set for this most wonderful event of the year. How I wish to believe I am too but funny that at some point during Christmas something in me really get so lonely - I don't know what exactly but it's something I don't mind so much not having at other times. Do you feel the same way too?

Anyway, given the kind of relationships I had with my family and loved ones for the last years, to me it comes as no surprise.I've celebrated two sad Christmases alone before and swear never did like any of it. I wish for something new this year and now I have 18 days to work for it.

Philippine Tragedy

Typhoon Ondoy caused the worst flooding in 40 years and killed 288 people in the Philippines. Now a second typhoon in eight days is bearing down on the Philippine country. This is such a heart breaking tragedy. Well at least the weather stations are claiming Typhoon Parma, is no longer headed for the same heavily populated areas devastated by the earlier storm this is a good thing. These people need prayers and help from all over the world. It is tragedies like this where all countries should pull together and help their fellow human beings. This is when the world can unite and give food, cloths, and medical aid. God Bless all the people in the devastated areas, and may God provide comfort and relief for these families.

I still can't imagine how the advent of technology can do wonders. Would you believe that the actual background of this picture of me and my niece is a native restaurant structure? If you look closely, the roof of the structure is made of bamboo and Nipa palm thatch while we were sitting in a bamboo-made chair.

So in this picture, we were flown from the beach side scenery to a wide hanging billboard in wherever vast city is this, LOL!

Anyway, I just thought this is cool. I was reading online casino news when JK sent it to me. He's so fond of playing with pictures and he takes them as far as his imagination can reach. I got lots of them!

Interesting Movie

I recently bought this movie and it was a very interesting. However it is not for someone with a week stomach or a close mind. The movie has several graphic scenes however it can get the point across to kids that boot camp is really not a place they want to go. Some of the scenes are realistic and some are dramatized and exaggerated. However it is a fantastic movie as far as I'm concerned.

stepped down and back

I have been a busy mom last week. My girls got the chance to spend their weekend with me and this time it's an extended vacation for them because today, Monday is an official holiday here in my side of the world. Spending a weekend with them is a little bit sad and a happy situation for me. Obviously happy because we don't get to see each other often so I savor every chance I get and on top of the line is to make them feel that each moment spent with mom is always worth it. On the other hand, sad because I know I need to step down from my throne being the boss of my own computer to give way for the princesses, (LOL!)

Normally, I get less chance to go online while they are around. I'd like to apologize to the blog advertising companies for the jobs undone. Anyway my brother already sent them home this afternoon. Again, it made me sad that they have to leave but I'm likewise happy because I'm back to my throne now.
